On the 18th and 19th centuries, a lot of noble men and men of means wore powdered wigs that were often known as Peruke. This was a type of formal wear that one was expected to don for special events and court appearances. It is also the sort of thing that still shows up to this day in school plays that feature the Founding Fathers.
A Synthetic Wig That Looks Real
